Yakutsk deliberates on the growth strategy for the national celebrations "Ysyah Tuymada" and "Us Hatyn"
In a recent gathering at the Yuri Gagarin Center of Culture and Contemporary Art in Yakutsk, Russia, a strategic session was held to discuss the future of the "Ysyakh Tuimaady" holiday and the "Us Hatyn" territory.
The event, attended by representatives of Yakutsk's subordinate organisations, law enforcement agencies, and all interested parties, focused on constructive discussions that aimed to develop the concept of the national holiday "Ysyakh Tuimaady" and the architectural and ethnographic complex "Us Hatyn".
Participants divided into eight teams, each presenting their vision for the "Ysyakh Tuimaady" holiday and the "Us Hatyn" territory. The discussions focused on aspects such as transport accessibility, territory improvement, creating comfortable conditions for guests, and developing ethnocultural initiatives.
Yevgeniy Grigoryev, Head of the City District Administration of Yakutsk, praised the participants' initiatives and noted that many proposed projects do not require significant financial investment. He emphasised that the session was about further social, cultural, and economic development in the region, not just preserving traditions.
Sardana Bryzgolova, Head of the Culture and Spiritual Development Department of the City District Administration, proposed a strategy for year-round use of the "Us Hatyn" area. Several proposed infrastructure improvement and event organisation projects can be implemented in the near future, aimed at preserving traditions and promoting national heritage.
All attendees praised the high level of organisation of the session and expressed gratitude for the opportunity for open dialogue and joint work on city projects. The City District Administration of Yakutsk will continue to work on developing cultural initiatives.
