It's no surprise then, that a woman's wish ride took her from her hospice to beautiful Erfurt, even on a spectacular day! As the wish grantors arrived at the woman's hospice, the excitement was palpable. "Our passenger was overjoyed, warmly accompanied by a loving hospice caregiver," the team wrote on Facebook. The Wish Bus itself left her spellbound. "With sparkling eyes," she admired it. During the journey to Erfurt, she often gazed out at the passing landscape, bathed in the sun's golden light.
A Moment Worth Savoring
And the sun greeted the small travel group in Erfurt. They journeyed up to Petersberg – and there, "not only the Petersberg, but also our passenger was aglow," the wish grantors wrote. And then it was time for sightseeing. There was a lot to see. After all, the Zitadelle Petersberg sprawled out there - quite a sight to behold. From Petersberg, they ventured to the Domplatz. A detour there, of course, was a must. Just like sharing lunch at a charming guesthouse. And there, the volunteers were welcomed, too. "A moment worth savoring that left a deep impression," it reads on the Wish Bus's Facebook page.

The ride back wasn't directly to the hospice. Instead, there was still a detour to Ilmenau. They enjoyed a delightful ice cream there. "The perfect finale to a day that went off seamlessly. Happy and contented, we returned – hearts filled with memories and smiles that lingered."
