Vibrant Artists Invigorate Urban Landscape
Stuttgart's city centre will once again transform into a vibrant stage for art and entertainment as the City Initiative hosts the sixth instalment of "Stuttgart Street Art" on Saturday, July 19th. The event, part of the series that has been held twice this year, will take place around Schlossplatz, with a variety of performances and activities scheduled throughout the day.
Pantomime Pablo will be one of the performers gracing Schlossplatz, while Jens Ohle will showcase his juggling skills and attempt to make the crowd laugh at 12 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM near the Kunstmuseum. For those interested in magic and mind-reading, Daniel Zurn will captivate audiences around Schlossplatz.
Dancers from Tanzschule Tanzkraftwerk will perform a mix of hip hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, children's dance, commercial, heels, and breakdance at 12 PM, 2 PM, and 5:30 PM, with a show at 12:45, 2:45, 5 PM, and 6 PM. The professional artist ensemble Floor LegendZ will also wow the crowd with a breathtaking display of acrobatics, various dance styles, beatbox, and Cyr-wheel near the Königsbau.
Six different stations will be set up for the performances, with Tilo Schoppe performing a participatory circus with skill games and surprises at 12 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5 PM near the Herzog-Christoph-Denkmal. Clown Leo will entertain in front of the Commerzbank at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 PM. Fire Artist Mystique will add a sparkle to the event with their captivating performances around Schlossplatz.
For those looking to learn more about responsible internet usage, members of the CIS will offer workshops for families and children at the Telekom shop at Königstraße 34, providing markers and balloons for participants. Additionally, Forzarello duo will perform their "Juggle and Drum" show at 1:15 PM, 3:15 PM, and 5:15 PM near the Kunstmuseum, and Eddy Danco will play his guitar at the music pavilion at 1:30, 3:30, and 4:30 PM.
