Unveiled Hamburg Airport features twin retail outlets focusing on a single motif
Hamburg Airport has recently expanded its shopping offer with the addition of two new souvenir shops, "I Love Hamburg" and "Best of Hamburg." These city-themed merchandise stores aim to provide travelers with a unique memory of Hamburg and cater to similar shopping needs.
Located at Gate C08, "I Love Hamburg" offers a variety of souvenirs, including maritime keepsakes, modern design items, exclusive gift ideas, snacks, and beverages. The store emphasizes products that preserve memories and evoke the feeling of special moments in Hamburg, with a focus on authenticity and design inspired by the city and its maritime heritage. "I Love Hamburg" is open daily from 6am to 7pm.
"Best of Hamburg", located at Pier South near Gate A20, complements the offerings of its counterpart. This store features a diverse range of city-themed merchandise, including maritime souvenirs, accessories, modern design items, and exclusive gifts. "Best of Hamburg" is part of Muddastadt’s portfolio, a leading German souvenir specialist with over 60 years of experience and more than 6,000 items across several cities.
Maximilian Forst, managing director of Muddastadt, stated that the souvenirs offer a special way for travelers to take Hamburg home. Lutz Deubel, head of center management at Hamburg Airport, expressed his excitement, stating that the cooperation with Muddastadt Berlin enriches the shopping offer at the airport and offers another piece of Hamburg's spirit at the airport.
Examples of souvenirs sold at "I Love Hamburg" include cups, bags, T-shirts, and a teddy bear wearing a pilot's cap and glasses with the inscription "Crash Pilot Hamburg." The new shops join other recent additions to Hamburg Airport, such as a concept store selling articles from Guess and Victoria's Secret, which has been operational since late 2024.
In addition to the new souvenir shops, Hamburg Airport introduced a new catering concept, Fiete & Frida, in February. These new offerings aim to make the airport experience more enjoyable and memorable for passengers and employees alike.
