Ten-day festival celebrating Sri Navathurgadevi, the goddess of the temple, is set to begin in Wuppertal, Germany. On the ninth day, the goddess will be removed from the temple and marched through city streets in a flower-bedecked chariot, or "Theer." The procession, accompanied by Kavadi dances and Indian musical instruments, will be escorted by an estimated 450 visitors.

The procession will commence on Hünefeldstraße and traverse Völklinger Straße, Gronaustraße, and Grönhoffstraße before returning to Hünefeldstraße.
