Sports Event in Lady Lake: A Three-Day Adventure Run and Football Festival from August 22nd to August 24th, 2525
Mark your calendars for an action-packed weekend as the Sports Weekend at Frauensee is set to take place from the 22nd to the 24th of August, 2025.
The weekend kicks off on Friday with the Old Men's Game starting at 6:30 PM. The fun continues on Saturday, with the Funino Tournament starting at 10 AM, followed by the C-Juniors' game at 3 PM and the E-Junior game at 1 PM. The D-Juniors will take the field at 2 PM, and the Fun Competition among the local clubs will begin at 5 PM.
For those with a competitive spirit, there's the Cross Country Run during the Nature Experience Run, a 5.3 km challenge that costs 6€ and starts at 10:15 AM. For those seeking a longer run, the quarter marathon during the Nature Experience Run, a 10.6 km race, costs 10€ and begins at the same time. Registration for the Nature Experience Run is open online now, with late registration possible on race day until 9:45 AM.
Nordic Walking groups will also be part of the Nature Experience Run, with a 5.3 km option available for 6€ and a 10.6 km option for 10€. For the youngest participants, the Nature Experience Run starts at 10:30 AM, free of charge.
Throughout the entire weekend, food and drinks will be available, and refreshments after the Nature Experience Run will include Thuringian dumplings and goulash. To keep the little ones entertained, a bouncy castle and face painting station will be available.
