"Just imagine, way too many hiccups, and staying on board was no longer an option."
"I Expected a Dream Vacation"
In two updates on her Instagram Story, she elaborated: "Initially, our journey was extended, and I was genuinely excited for it. Unfortunately, it was a company-sponsored trip, but I can't endorse something that isn't up to standard." She was honest about the ordeal. "From coordination to the ship itself, I'm afraid to say that nearly everything went south, leaving me very little to commend," Laura Maria said emphatically. She chose to keep the specifics of the mishaps under wraps. "If it were merely small inconveniences, I'd have persevered. However, from pick-up to booking, cabin, and everything else, it was a veritable disaster."
She informed her approximately 956,000 followers that other travelers also opted to leave the ship early. "It wasn't a one-off situation, my dear friends," she said. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic about the possibility of cruising again someday. Perhaps her luck just ran out this time. At least, they got to witness a breathtaking sunset from the ship.
Post-Cruise: A Peaceful Stay in Rome
Now, she's grateful that they safely escaped the cruise and can still savor the remainder of their excursion. In Rome, she marveled at the Vatican and the Colosseum, snapping a photo from a restaurant. she and her loved ones will continue their adventure "on a different note," she added.
Pietro Lombardi, a prior "DSDS" champion, and Laura Maria Rypa exchanged vows in 2022. In January 2023, they welcomed their firstborn, Leano, and in August 2024, they were blessed with their second child, Amelio. Lombardi also shares a son, Alessio (9), with his ex-spouse, singer Sarah Engels (32).
