Sackenried's Designated Area
In the picturesque village of Sackenried, an annual tradition was celebrated this year, attracting a total of twenty pilgrims. The event, which took place under the best weather conditions, was in honour of the 14 Holy Helpers, as previously mentioned.
The Blaibach section of the Forest Association joined the pilgrimage from Prackenbach, Hohenwarth, and Bad Kötzting, in addition to the local Sackenried community. After the church dedication mass, everyone gathered for food and drink, prepared generously by the Sackenried village community.
Manfred Faschingbauer, a local photographer, was on hand to capture the event's special moments. The church dedication mass, as well as the communal gathering afterwards, were both in honour of the 14 Holy Helpers.
