Hitchin' a Ride to Thailand's Paradise? Don't Forget Your Digital Pass!
Fancy a White Lotus-inspired sojourn or a selfie with Thailand's internet-renowned pygmy hippo Moo Deng? Before you embark on your Thai adventure, don't forget to sort your paperwork first.
Starting May 1, all non-Thai nationals entering the country via air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival.
What's a TDAC, and how do you score one?
Say goodbye to paper forms and streamline your immigration process with this digital arrival card. The TDAC system will sync with Thailand's biometric database, making border checks a breeze for immigration officials.
To get your hands on a TDAC, register online within three days of your arrival. Upon completion, you'll receive a QR code to flash at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival. No fees, no fuss – just don't forget to do it, or risk being denied entry.
From May onwards, the TDAC will be compulsory for all foreign passport holders, including tourists, business travelers, and long-term residents, with some exceptions for transit passengers.
