Emirates Offers Smooth Travel During Eid Al Fitr Holidays at Dubai International Airport

As the Eid Al Fitr holidays approach, Dubai International Airport Terminal 3, a major hub for Emirates, gears up to welcome over 80,000 passengers daily during peak days: 28-29 March and 5-6 April. To manage this high volume of travelers, Emirates has introduced several check-in options to ensure a smooth and efficient departure experience.

Online Check-in: The Fastest Option

Emirates encourages passengers to use online check-in, which can be done via the Emirates website or mobile app starting 48 hours before departure. This is the most convenient and fastest way to secure your boarding pass and choose your seat.

Self-Service Kiosks: For Those Checking In at the Airport

For passengers who prefer to check in at the airport, self-service kiosks are available at Terminal 3. These kiosks allow passengers to print their boarding passes and bag tags, reducing the need for personal interaction and queuing at the counters.

Dedicated Check-in Counters: Assistance and Premium Service

Emirates also provides dedicated check-in counters for passengers who need assistance, passengers with special needs, and premium passengers. This ensures a personalised and seamless check-in process.

Arrive Early for a Smooth Departure

During the Eid Al Fitr holidays, it is advisable to arrive early at the airport to accommodate security and baggage drop. Emirates enforces check-in and gate closure timings strictly during this period to ensure on-time departures. Economy & Premium Economy passengers should arrive 60 minutes before departure, while First & Business Class passengers should arrive 45 minutes before departure.

Avoiding Congestion on Peak Days

To avoid congestion and ensure a smooth travel experience, Emirates urges all passengers to complete online check-in as early as possible. Additionally, passengers traveling on peak days during Eid (28-29 March and 5-6 April) are advised to arrive early at the airport and use self-service kiosks if unavoidably checking in at the airport.

Other Check-in Options

While not specifically mentioned for the Eid holidays, Emirates offers other check-in options such as mobile check-in ports, Ajman Central Bus Terminal check-in for passengers traveling from the northern Emirates, Emirates City Check-in & Travel Store at ICD Brookfield Place, and a home check-in service for passengers staying at hotels or residences.

Emirates' focus on safe, contactless technology and smooth passenger processing at Dubai Airport aligns with these recommendations for peak travel days at Terminal 3, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for all passengers.
