Day 1:
- 9:00am - Head to Nara: The most convenient option is to take the Miyakoji rapid service from Kyoto Station to Nara Station, a 45-minute journey.
- 10:30am - Kasuga Taisha Shrine: Known as Nara's most celebrated shrine, Kasuga Taisha was established around the same time as the city. Buses are available from JR Nara Station.
