Her captivating photography earned her the Communication Arts Awards of Excellence in documentary photography, as she shared on Instagram on April 4.

The photographs were captured in the Almaty Region, in the villages of Kurty and the foothills of the Ile Alatau.

"MASTERS OF TIME-HONORED TRADITIONS, the berkutchi (falconers) demonstrated the essence of Kazakh heritage to a foreign lens. Wojtasik beautifully documented the interaction between man and bird, conveying not just aesthetics, but the profound meaning of this centuries-old art," Kazakh Tourism national company reported on April 9.

Her collection, exhibited at the international competition, sparked global interest, casting a spotlight on Kazakhstan's vibrant cultural heritage.

Known for her stellar work, Wojtasik is a celebrated photographer, having won the prestigious Lucie Award, often referred to as the Oscar of the photography world.
