New insights on hotel reservations suggest St. Petersburg is the prime destination for Russians this June, with a whopping 23% choosing to witness the white nights — a 7% boost from last year!

The runner-up is Moscow, but its luster seems to be fading, as numbers dropped by 10%. Buckle up, Sochi is joining the top three with a cool 9.7% of vacationers eager to unwind at the resort city.

Rounding off the top choices, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, and Vladivostok aren't far behind.

Digging deeper, there's a growing interest in overseas adventures. Nearly one-third of travelers opted for trips abroad in June. Istanbul, with a 11.2% booking share, remains the top foreign city, soaring 12% higher than last year. Following closely behind are Minsk and Paris.
