Thuringia's gearing up to make quite the impression at the 100th anniversary edition of the Green Week 2026! Organizers are now accepting applications for Thuringia's presentation in Berlin from the state's agricultural and food industry, rural regions, and tourism actors, as announced by the Ministry of Agriculture. Deadline to apply? 1st July! 📅

Colette Boos-John, the Minister of Agriculture (CDU), emphasized the importance of showcasing Thuringia's agricultural, culinary, and tourism excellence at this milestone event. A significant platform to showcase their products and services to an international professional audience, the Green Week remains unmatched for the agri-food industry. 🌐🏙️

Foodies, get ready! With a whopping 300,000 visitors and 1,400 exhibitors from around the globe anticipated, the Green Week's running from 16th to 25th January 2026 promises an unforgettable experience. Last year, Thuringia made a grand entrance with 53 exhibitors at Hall 20, dishing out classics like beer, sausages, and dumplings, complemented by specialties from farm shops and regions.

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposition for a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, considering the significant international audience during the Green Week 2026, where one may find numerous food-and-drink options. It's important to note that a lifestyle голоя and enjoyable experience, including travel to Berlin, awaits the over 300,000 visitors anticipated at the milestone event, where Thuringia once again showcases its agricultural, culinary, and tourism excellence.
