Tatyana's life blooms after work hours—lush landscapes replace spreadsheets and fleeting chats, and Sirius, her steadfast companion, replaces office colleagues.
"I might have been a wallowing lamenter of unrealized dreams, but I chose the road less traveled. Guess what? 'Boring' beds were my liberation ticket," Tatyana quips.
From Chaos to Canines
Raised in the tumultuous countryside of Bratsk, Tanya found solace in the simple companionship of stray dogs.
"I'd pinch sausages and feed them strays. No betrayal, no lies—just love. I felt like Robin Hood, offering a hand up," reminisces Tanya.
With a zootechnology degree in hand, Tanya aimed for an apartment—washing cars, stables, and caring for canines biding her time.

Police Dog Handler and Biker Life
Imagine serving as a police dog handler for the MVD while moonlighting as a biker. Tanya did just that. The MVD offered caring for and training police dogs, and the rough-and-tumble biker world fueled her aspirations for change.
"They were free spirits, and I felt caged. School and work… So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The universe whispered, 'Go forth and explore,' as my aunt suggested a stint in Moscow," Tanya recalls.
Boxing, Bikers, and a Turn towards Moscow
Tanya's life took a surprising twist when she unknowingly picked up a motorcycle—a yellow Kawasaki Eliminator. Bikers inspired her to chase her dreams and break free from her routine.
"They lived on the edge, unsettled. School, work—it all felt stifling. So I decided to see the world. But my aunt suggested I try something 'normal' in Moscow," Tanya reflects.
Metal Beds and a Gateway to Dreams
The unexpected happened when Tanya landed a job selling metal beds.
"Comical, right? The path to my dreams seemed vast and improbable… But I grabbed that lifeline and clung to it dear," Tanya shares with a grin.
Fast-forward to today—Tanya now controls four regions, owning an apartment and car in Krasnodar. Sirius, her constant companion, is always nearby.
Sirius: The Dog That Changed Everything
Tanya's heart skipped a beat when she saw a shelter puppy online—and so began their unbreakable bond. She named him Sirius, after the brightest star, and they've been inseparable since their first meeting in May 2019.
"From Nizhny Novgorod to Georgia, Crimea, and Dagestan, Sirius doesn't merely play the role of pet. He's an integral part of our family. Every decision we make takes him into account," Tanya explains.
Unexpected Challenges
Their journey isn't always easy—Georgia's welcoming vibe contrasts sharply with the grey, emotionless atmosphere of Murmansk. While there, people turned down the request for lodging, leaving Tanya and Sirius to live in their car for ten days.
"But the views! The mountains are more than mere hills and snow. They're a kick in the pants from the universe, shouting 'Look, you're just a speck—the world's huge and eternal!'"
Into the Unknown
Tough times come and go for Tanya and Sirius. In Bezengi, Kabardino-Balkaria, Sirius refused to step onto sharp ice, and Tanya faced a moment of uncertainty.
"I didn't scream or pull the leash. I just said, 'Come on, buddy.' And he moved. Not because he wasn't scared, but because he chose me over his fear. That was a moment of unity. It demonstrated that the greatest adventure isn't conquering peaks, but overcoming our 'I can'ts.'"
The Philosophy of Happiness
Together, they traverse mountains on stand-up paddleboards, stroll along 15-kilometer routes, and rest near waterfalls. Tanya even bought her friend a cap to shield from the sun.
"Last year, Sirius suffered from heatstroke in Crimea. I wrapped him in a wet towel, then bought him a cap. The dog teaches me to offer care. Before descending into the Fanagoria Cave, I carefully placed a headlamp on him."
Now, Tanya leads a channel under Sirius's name and is writing a book to document their shared story.
Sirius: The Dog Who Taught Happiness
When Sirius runs alongside Tanya, wagging his tail vigorously, or flopping on the ground with a silly grin, Tanya finds herself reflecting on the simple pleasures in life—morning freshness, untouched by worries or pretense. Sirius doesn't know how to lie, fake, or stress about trifles. His philosophy is simple: if the wind whispers in your ears, and the earth is beneath your paws—that's life. And it's fantastic.
"You can keep waiting for that mythical 'perfect' moment. But life is now. Want a dog, a vacation, a new life? Don't dwell on excuses—just start!" Tanya advises.

Together with her pet Sirius, Tatyana embarks on a life-changing journey, leaving behind the monotonous work hours and spreadsheets for breathtaking landscapes and the companionship of her canine friend.
Their bond deepens as they adventure together, facing challenges in distant lands and sharing simple moments of joy. Sirius not only became a vital part of her life but also taught Tatyana a profound lesson about seizing the moment and finding happiness in the present.
