Harbor Glow Christmas Market Returns to Lübeck, Germany
After a successful run in the previous holiday season, the Harbor Glow Christmas market is set to return to Lübeck, Germany, from the 27th of November to the 23rd of December 2022. This year's event will be held at Drehbrücke Square, Wassertreppe Lübeck, and admission is free for all visitors.
The market, organized by Lübeck und Travemünde Marketing GmbH, will feature a variety of events and attractions, including live music performances, Veggy Wednesday, Christmas Karaoke, and a Fire Bowl event. Some of the performers confirmed for this year's event include George Harris, Mooji and Denise, Klaroscuro, Joe Green, Tramper, Four Rooms, Möwenschiet Chor, Next Tuesday, Lübeck Kneipenchor / Doom Birds, Thirsday, Fehmarn Distillery, Alex Seeger & Bartosz, The Baltic Sea Duo, Sambaband Banda Ge’Nun, and The Grohl Group.
Visitors can also enjoy traditional treats, hearty snacks, and fish dishes, as well as unique products from the stalls operated by young start-ups from the region. On Veggy Wednesday, visitors can indulge in vegan and vegetarian delights, while on other days, they can sample fresh fish, Indonesian satay skewers with peanut sauce, or heartwarming Polish specialties.
In addition to the food and music, the Harbor Glow Christmas market will offer creative workshops for visitors of all ages. Nina Sommer, a creative florist, will help visitors bind flower wreaths, while Machbar will guide visitors in crafting winter wreaths, wooden ornaments, and dip-dyed candles.
The market will be open from 15-21 Uhr on weekdays, 11-22 Uhr on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Sundays, visitors can also enjoy performances by Tramper, who will mix Rock and Hip Hop, or The Baltic Sea Duo, who will play meditative melodies.
