Arguably missing her flight, Pompeo stood her ground, waiting for the all-clear signal. The unopened bag was deemed safe only after the bomb squad had a good look.

Pompeo can't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. "I was literally held up for an hour and they even called the bomb squad. I almost missed the flight," she said. Little did anyone suspect, it was a bag of sunflower seeds causing the ruckus. "I wrote my PR agent: 'I might not make this flight, and you'll never guess why.'"

Airport nightmares aside, Pompeo has a soft spot for jet-setting. However, flight anxiety lingers, and germs are enough to make her break out in a sweat.
