Blossoming Sunflower Events and Farms for Family Fun in the Seattle Region
The Snoqualmie Valley Sunflower Festival is set to return this summer, promising a month-long celebration of sunflowers and more from August 14 to September 14, 2025. Organised by the Carnation and Duvall chambers of commerce, the North Bend Downtown Foundation, and various participating farms in the region, this year's festival will be filled with sunflower-themed activities for all ages.
The festival will kick off with special days in Carnation and Duvall, named Sunflower Saturday and Sunflower Sunday, respectively, on September 6 and 7. Downtown Carnation at the Tolt Commons and downtown Duvall will host these events, providing a vibrant setting for sunflower lovers to come together.
In addition to the main festival, several farms in the area will host their own sunflower events. Mountainview Blueberry Farm, for instance, will feature sunflowers and blueberries from August 8 to 31, 2025, with admission including a wander in the sunflower and blueberry fields.
Sunflower Sisters in North Bend will offer a u-pick sunflower event, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting early August. Another separate event, Sunflowers in Snohomish at Thomas Family Farm, will run from July 28 to August 15, 2025.
Other farms participating in the Snoqualmie Valley Sunflower Festival include Stocker Farms, Rutledge Farm, Lora Lee's A-Maze-Zing Sunflower Maze, Schilter Family Farm, Knutson Farms, and Maris Farms. Each farm offers unique experiences, from sunflower mazes and fun parks to u-pick sunflowers and farm activities.
For those interested in attending Stocker Farms Sunflower Fields, tickets can be purchased online starting Sept. 8. Rutledge Farm Sunflower Festival will take place from Aug. 16-Sept. 1, 2025, with each guest receiving a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift basket. Lora Lee's A-Maze-Zing Sunflower Maze's opening date is yet to be announced, but the season typically starts in mid-August.
