Breaking: Belarus to Establish Air Communication with Saudi Arabia and Seychelles
In a significant development, the Republic of Belarus will potentially establish regular air communication with Saudi Arabia and the Seychelles, according to Office Life.
The agreements for this have been ratified and officially published on the Pravo.by portal. The intention to start conducting air flights with these countries was initially announced in early 2024. Preliminary agreements were signed towards the end of the previous year.
Discussions regarding official recognition between Belarus and both countries occurred recently. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Seychelles are the two countries in question.

The corresponding document with Saudi Arabia was signed in Kuala Lumpur on October 22, 2024, while the deal with the islands was signed a day earlier. Notably, Belavia, the national airline, had intended to establish air communication with the Seychelles as early as 2024.
Both Saudi Arabia and the Seychelles are popular tourist destinations. Saudi Arabia boasts breathtaking desert landscapes and mountain panoramas of the Hijaz, while the Seychelles, located in the Indian Ocean, is admired for its idyllic beaches.
The Seychelles, consisting of more than 115 islands, offers a diverse range of top attractions and activities.
