Annual Lego Exhibition at Legoland Windsor Resort
Hey there! Let's talk about our recent visit to Legoland Windsor and their Lego Festival! Dann thought it'd be a blast to check out this springtime event, and boy was he right!
We’ve been to plenty of time-limited events at Legoland, like Brick or Treat, Firework Spectacular, Christmas, and even their mini-golf. This Festival, however, was something new and exciting! Upon entering, we picked up our lanyards at the main stage, which had info on Lego-related experiences such as Fortnite and the golf course.
Moseying along, we noticed some fresh touches to the park – blooms added to the statues, vibrant bunting, and logos that just made everything seem lively and colorful. We loved the updated vibe! We then made our way to Miniland, where we stumbled upon exclusive event items and yummy treats like Lego Festival churros (topped with white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles!). The day was only getting better.
Next up, we built a little Lego figure and earned our Pop Badge (a must-have for Robin, who loves wearing 'em!). We also got to decorate a cookie, grab some rainbow popcorn, and add our own creations to a white building structure, earning stamps each time. The dance area was a relief, as there was no mandatory dancing required to get the stamp!
As we continued on, we watched Fortnight talks and Lego brand spotlights, built sushi, and even made a back-stage pass in the Lego Friends world. Lastly, we added our creations to a large Lego Botanicals wall, along with a Chill Out Zone where you could build with Lego Botanicals. Phew! All of this kept us busy for about two hours, and made the day even more enjoyable.
Post-activities, we explored our favorite rides, got wet on the log flume, played in the Haunted Mansion, and relaxed together. By the end, Kai was tired and talked about visiting older kid amusement parks, while Amelia and Robin compared it to other events and chatted about what they loved most.
Our experience at the Lego Festival was fantastic, even though we didn't get a special pop badge as a prize – we got two bags of sweets and a gift voucher for the store instead. We had a blast, and you should definitely check it out if you're planning a visit to Legoland Windsor!
Stay tuned for more Days Out adventures!
Joining the festival fun, we discovered a variety of engaging activities that complemented our lifestyle, from building Lego figures to decorating cookies - all falling under the fashion-and-beauty, food-and-drink, and home-and-garden categories. We even took part in a unique travel-themed session, where we built sushi and explored the Lego Friends world.
As avid Lego enthusiasts, we also enjoyed the Lego brand spotlights and Fortnite talks, which broadened our knowledge about the latest trends in the fashion-and-beauty and gaming worlds. The vibrant decorations and updated Miniland, exuding a fresh, lively atmosphere, were indeed refreshing additions that enhanced the overall lifestyle experience.
On top of these exciting events, we also got to indulge in delicious food-and-drink treats like the Lego Festival churros and rainbow popcorn, making our day more satisfying and memorable. From rides and attractions to events and activities, Legoland Windsor's Lego Festival offers a fantastic combination of entertainment for every age group and interests, making it a must-visit for any avid Lego fan or curious traveler!
