Flights restart between Norddeich and Juist airports - Aircrafts are heading back to Juist from Norddeich.

In a significant development for travel to the North Sea island of Juist, Scandinavian Air Charter has announced the resumption of flights from Norddeich, starting from Monday. This follows the suspension of flights from Emden by the East Frisian Air Service, a temporary situation according to the service's website statement.

The flights from Norddeich will be operated using Cessna 206 aircraft, which have a capacity for five passengers. Each passenger is allowed to bring up to 10 kilograms of luggage. The flights will operate at least four times a day, providing a convenient travel option for those heading to Juist from Norddeich.

In the wake of the suspension of flights from Emden, the East Frisian Air Service has not specified a date for the resumption of these services. Passengers who previously relied on the East Frisian Air Service's daily flights from Emden will now have to consider alternative travel options.

For those arriving at Juist, the island administration has announced that horse-drawn carriages will no longer be used for transportation from the airport to the town. Instead, bicycle rickshaws for up to four people will be available, and rental bicycles will also be available, according to the administration.

Juist is currently only accessible via air from Norddeich or by boat, depending on the tides. The island, known for its long, sandy beaches and dune landscapes, is a popular tourist destination.

Despite the temporary suspension of flights from Emden, the East Frisian Air Service's website states that they remain committed to providing a reliable service to their passengers. Tickets for the flights from Norddeich can be purchased starting from the first day of operation via the airline's website.
